These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made by you at www.kangaroolight.com.
Kangaroolight®, Banana Things® and Studio Banana® are brands exploited by and belonging to Studio Banana SL. Studio Banana SL (Studio Banana LLP, from now on “Studio Banana”. Also “us”, “we”, “the company” or similar) is a company incorporated in Spain and whose registered address is Calle Plátano, 14 – 28029 Madrid, Spain.
Content and Use
The user (from now on “customer”. Also “you”, “he” or similar) is hereby informed and accepts that accessing to this website does not imply, by any means, the beginning of a business relationship with the Company.
1- General Conditions
Access and use of the web page www.Kangaroolight.com (from now on “Kangaroolight”) including subdomains and directories, as well as services or content found there within, are subject to the terms detailed in the legal notice outlined below. The use made of the website, material or services, including content within, implies acceptance of these and any amended legal terms and any regulative provisions implemented and enforced at any given time, being updated and published online with no necessary individual warning or notice.
Personal data that may be solicited on this website will be treated according to Spanish Statutory Law 15/1999, December 13, Protection of Personal Data. Thus the user is informed that the provision of information implies his express consent, voluntarily providing personal data in the previous fields (minimum information necessary to enable the identification of the individual who sent the statement).
If you place an order with us, we request certain personal information. You must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail and delivery address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date and the three digit security code). We use this contact information for billing purposes only and to complete your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use your contact information to reach you. Your telephone number is required for shipping purposes. We use third party web beacons to help analyze where visitors go and what they do while visiting our website.
All information provided by you is strictly confidential and is treated in accordance with consumer and data protection legislation. Studio Banana processes contact information automatically through the Woocommerce via WordPress database, and never has contact to the financial information.
Passwords will serve to access the exclusive services offered in Kangaroolight only for registered users. You are solely responsible for keeping your password in the strictest and absolute confidentiality, and assume therefore any damages or consequences arising from revealing the password.
We inform you that you may exercise your access rights, rectification, modification and deletion of your personal data by accessing to your user’s account. Likewise, you can express your refusal to the processing of personal data within a period of thirty days by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, in the event that you do not do decide to that effect, it will be deemed that you consent to the processing of your personal data, as established in Article 14.2 the Rules of developing LOPD (1720/2007).
Studio Banana will not be responsible for any incidents arising from attacks or non-authorized access to their systems which have not been detected by the security features or when it is a result of your own lack of care regarding the safeguarding of the password or your own personal information.

You agree and acknowledge that Kangaroolight is entitled to modify, both with regard to information about their products or services, improve or discontinue any of its services at its sole discretion and without notice to you even if it may result in you being prevented from accessing any information contained in the Kangaroolight website. Furthermore, you agree and acknowledge that Kangaroolight is entitled to provide services to you through subsidiaries or affiliated companies.

The design of Kangaroolight, source codes, website and all its content, for example the formative material, logo, brand, trademarks, service marks, designs and patents and other distinctive signs which appear on the web, belong to Studio Banana and are protected by the corresponding intellectual property laws and international intellectual property treaties, with the exception of some elements needing licenses or derivatives with specific license conditions.
Kangaroolight authorizes you to view and make a single copy of portions of its content for offline, personal, non-commercial use. Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, provision, or alternation, as well as any other form of exploitation of all or part of this content or features made in any form or by any means, requires prior written consent from Studio Banana.
Studio Banana requests that, with respect to its Intellectual and Industrial Property for third parties, if the rights (of the third party) are considered to be violated, they get in contact with Studio Banana. Any third-party trademarks, service marks and logos are the property of their respective owners. Any further rights not specifically granted herein are reserved.
The intellectual property rights of the images, texts, designs, animations or any other content or elements of this website belong solely to Studio Banana. All trade names, trademarks or distinctive signs of any kind on the websites of Studio Banana are property of the owners and are protected by law.
Studio Banana assumes no liability other than what follows from statutory law. Studio Banana can in no event be held liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of or damage that may arise from the accuracy of the information contained in this website, nor the use of the content.
Studio Banana is exempt from any type of liability when the information published on its website has been taken and manipulated, or introduced by an external third party. This website may contain links to external sites, Studio Banana is not responsible for the content of such external sites or any other aspect thereof. Studio Banana does not assume liability in relation to products or services (or parts of products) manufactured or produced by third party manufacturers, licensors or suppliers and Studio Banana refers to the terms of any separate third party guarantee or warranty for such product (or relevant party).
Reservations are made regarding typing errors, goods sold out, and circumstances beyond Studio Studio Banana’s reasonable control.
7- Portrayal of Products
While every effort has been made to portray products accurately, slight variations may occur. All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colors is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes will allow. Please note there may be variations in colors dependent on the calibration and settings of individual screens. Studio Banana makes reservations for any typing errors which may occur on the website.
Once you have ordered and paid for your goods in Kangaroolight, you will receive an e-mail from Studio Banana confirming the receipt of your online payment, details of your order and delivery, provided that you submitted a correct e-mail address when placing your order. We cannot guarantee that all the goods ordered are available in our inventory at all times but we will ship them as soon as possible.
Kangaroolight does not accept cancelations or changes after orders get processed and customer was notified. In this case you will have to receive the order and process an ordinary return. If you still need a new order to get delivered, you will have to place the new order alongside.
We encourage you to print or save a copy of these Terms and Conditions, your payment information for paying online and order confirmation e-mail immediately upon receipt, in case you need to contact us with any questions about your order. If you notice some of the information e-mailed to you is incorrect, please contact us immediately so that we can correct it. In the case you have created an account in Kangaroolight, you will be able to modify any information yourself.
All prices are stated inclusive of all applicable taxes for deliveries within United States, Switzerland and the European Union unless otherwise indicated and exclusive of all applicable taxes for deliveries in the rest of the world. When imposed by country of delivery, all customs duties, fees, and other import tariffs shall be borne by the customer. We invite customers to contact custom authorities in the country or area in which they have their item delivered for cost details. Studio Banana does not offer VAT refunds for orders placed online at Kangaroolight. The price applicable is the price set out next to the product in question on the website on the date of ordering. While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel the order and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
Studio Banana accepts payments via Stripe and PayPal only. Stripe collects all customers’ payment information securely, and creates charges server-side. Stripe supports several currencies in addition to credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay, and more payment methods. PayPal is also a safe and easy payment method, which does not reveal any bank account, credit or debit card information to Studio Banana at any moment of the purchasing process. In case of payment inquiries about payments, commissions, exchange rates, etc customers should contact any of these two companies or their provider bank.
Studio Banana delivers its products via third party providers associated with the warehouses where products are stocked. Courier companies may vary depending on the country, area and service chosen by the customer in the transaction. Here you may find a complete list of the countries where Kangaroolight gets delivered:
Republic of Cyprus
You should ensure you are available at the address provided at the delivery moment. If you are not available to receive your order, someone should receive it. In the case no one is available to receive the package, courier company will do other attempts. Afterwards, if package still does not get delivered, courier company may return it back to origin. All costs from original delivery, custom duties and fees, delivery attempts and return will be borne by the customer.
Deliveries outside United States, Switzerland and the European Union may be subject to local import duties, custom duties or taxes, which are your responsibility. Studio Banana is unable to advise you of local charges or assume any responsibility for them. If you do not pay these local import/custom duties or taxes the product could be returned to Studio Banana or get destroyed. Please note, if this happens you will not be eligible for a refund, and all return charges will be at your cost. You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country to which the products are destined.
The usual time of delivery depends on the address of delivery and is estimated within 30 days maximum. Studio Banana makes every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales; however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. If Studio Banana does not deliver the goods within the estimated timescales, you should request Studio Banana to make the delivery within an additional period of time which in the circumstances is appropriate. Studio Banana understands that after the 30 days before indicated, all orders are received and carries no responsibility if the correspondent missing order notification by the customer is made out of the time frame above indicated.
Kangaroolight does not accept address changes after orders get processed and customer was notified. In this case you will have to receive the order and process an ordinary return. If you still need the order to get delivered somewhere else, you will have to place a new order alongside.
Studio Banana carries the risk and liability for damage to the goods during transport when delivering until you or someone has taken physical possession of the goods. If you choose to return the goods regardless of the situation, you will have the risk and liability for damage to the goods during transport when returning until Studio Banana has taken physical possession of the goods.
12- Missing products in delivered orders
While we try to ensure that all items get delivered, errors may occur. In the unfortunate event any product you purchased is missing, you will have to request a replacement of the item to us within 48 hours of receipt. Customer will have to request the authorization for the new delivery to email@example.com. Customer will receive an e-mail with all instructions for the new delivery. Photographic proof may be asked for. Studio Banana carries no responsibility and reserves the right to deny replacements if warning by customer is made out of the time frame above indicated. Studio Banana does not offer refunds for missing items.
Studio Banana, trading as Kangaroolight, warrants its products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials at the point of sale. Subject to this product being used in accordance with its instructions for use, the product shall continue to be free from defects, for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
Any damage or defects caused by a failure to follow the instructions which relate to this product or as the result of an accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication, product modification, faulty ancillary equipment, commercial non-home use, normal wear and tear, shipping damage or loss or damage caused by the actions of anyone other than Studio Banana are expressly excluded from the warranty stated above.
Studio Banana will replace any product that proves to be defective in either or both of workmanship or materials and as covered by this warranty. If the product is no longer manufactured or is out of stock at or after the time Studio Banana learns of the warranty claim, Studio Banana may, at its sole election, replace your product with a similar product. Studio Banana’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of any defective product under warranty and any incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. This warranty is not transferable and does not extend to users other than the person who originally purchased the product.
Valid proof of purchase in your initial enquiry, such as your order number in Kangaroolight, or a receipt will be requested. Studio Banana does not offer the warranty to products purchased in other retailers. For that matter, customer will have to contact the retailer directly.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return the item to us in its original condition within 14 days of receipt. Customer will have to request the authorization for the return by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Returns made through other way than the official or without an authorization may be refused. Customer will receive an answer with the return instructions if return gets approved. You will have up to 7 days to send back the item. Returned items must be in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation with no signs of use and in perfect state.
Upon arrival, return will undergo a quality control. If everything complies, Studio Banana will issue a refund minus original shipping costs within 30 days. If return does not pass quality control, order will get shipped back to the customer at his expense and case will be considered closed.
Only items purchased directly from Kangaroolight will be accepted. Studio Banana reserves the right to deny any return.
15- Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event the product you purchased is found to be defective, you may request a replacement of the item to us within 48 hours of receipt. Customer will have to request the authorization for the exchange by sending us an email to email@example.com. Requests made through other way than the official or without an authorization may be refused. Customer will receive an answer with the exchange instructions in case exchange gets approved. Photographic proof will be asked for.
Upon receiving the exchange instructions e-mail, you will have up to 7 days to send back the item. Returned items must be in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation with no signs of use. Products damaged through customer mishandling are non-returnable.
Upon arrival, item will undergo a quality control. If everything complies, Studio Banana will replace the faulty unit as soon as possible. If damaged good does not comply, order will get shipped back to the customer at his expense and case will be considered closed.
Only items purchased directly from Kangaroolight will be accepted. Studio Banana reserves the right to deny replacements. Studio Banana does not offer refunds for defective items.

When visiting the Kangaroolight website or sending Kangaroolight e-mails, you are communicating electronically with Studio Banana. Kangaroolight communicates with the Customer by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes you consent to receive electronic communications from Studio Banana, and agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other electronic communications that Kangaroolight provides satisfy any legal requirement and that such communications must be in writing. This clause does not affect any mandatory rights you might have.
Any complaints will be handled by our customer service in accordance with the relevant national legislation. You can complain to Kangaroolight by the means mentioned above.
17- Severability Clause
Should one or more of these Terms and Conditions be deemed unlawful and invalid and thus not enforceable, this will not affect the validity and enforcement of the remainder of the Terms and Conditions.
18- Retailers / Businesses
These Terms and Conditions only apply to consumers and do not apply to retailers or business owners/businesses. Kangaroolight defines retailers or business owners/businesses as those who place orders where the goods/products cannot be expected to be ordered for personal use. In these circumstances Kangaroolight can cancel the order without being liable in any way.
19- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The Law applicable in the case of dispute or conflict of the interpretation of the terms, which form part of this Legal Warning, including any questions related to the services of this web page, will be the Spanish Law.
For the resolution of any conflict that may occur when visiting the web page, or the use of the services provided, Studio Banana and the User accept to subject themselves to the Judges and Courts of Madrid (Spain).
